10 YouTube Channels to Supplement your Homeschool

I just love using online resource to supplement our homeschool! My favorite is YouTube. YouTube has built up an amazing library of amazing content. Homeschool families often overlook the awesome content they can find on YouTube to supplement their homeschool Below are ten to get you started!

1. Socratica Studios

Socratica Studios offers videos on various topics like Math, Science, and Language Arts. They even have a series of videos based on each state in the USA where they share basic facts about each state and its history.

2. Smarter Every Day

This channel is filled with loads of geeky information that you and your homeschooler are sure to love!

3. Numberphile

Love numbers? Numberphile is a channel that will make you fall in love with numbers!

4. WowMath

High School and Middle School students would benefit from this channel. WowMath is a channel dedicated to numbers too, but more complex concepts.

5. Veritasium

This is a channel dedicated to science. But he brings science to live in a really cool way!

6. Whiz Kids

Love science experiments? Whiz Kids is a channel all about science! I love this channel because it’s a kid doing all the experiments!

7. Sick Science

This is another science a channel. You’ll find a library of super cool science videos! Your kids are sure to enjoy this one (and you too) !

8. TedEducation

This is an amazing channel of really neat videos put together by awesome creators. You can find an array of topics in their video library!

9. Hoopla KidzLab

More science! These channels are so fun and this one makes science super fun and super easy!

10. Yo Kids

This is a recent channel I discovered. It houses a great library of how to draw videos, perfect for kids!

  9. How do you go about finding safe and reliableYoutube channels for kids? We are looking for a few that teach German words but I haven’t a clue how to go about finding some. Any suggestions

  11. Learn Colors and Play Fun on YouTube is our favorite! Especially for the younger kids! It teaches colors and number, shapes too, in such an easy and fun way that my kids absolutely adore ?
