Amy is a Christian wife of 19 years to her knight in shining armor and mom to their 15-year-old scientist. They have homeschooled since birth using a classical, literature-rich method.
Amy has a passion for genealogy and a love for helping others trace their family trees to learn more about their roots. In fact, not only is she a descendant of King Alfred the Great, Charlemagne, William the Conqueror and three Mayflower Pilgrims, but also General Robert E. Lee, and President Teddy Roosevelt are her distant cousins.
She and her family are die-hard Whovians and Trekkies, she adores her husband and son, loves sweet tea, small kitchen appliances, and holidays, even the silly ones like National Eat Like a Hobbit Day. You can find her blogging at Geek Families
